Semper Timur Encourages Elderly to Participate in COVID-19 Vaccination

Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta promotes COVID-19 vaccination for elderly.

They can register and participate in this free COVID-19 vaccination at the nearest health center or hospital

Semper Timur Urban Village Head, Cahyo Hudoyo said, his side also took Semper Timur Satpol PP operational vehicles to transport elderly residents who participate in COVID-19 vaccination at Semper Timur Health Center (Puskesmas).

"Semper Timur Satpol PP also supports this activity by providing operational vehicles to pick up and transport elderly people who will be vaccinated at Semper Timur Health Center," he conveyed, Tuesday (3/16).

He admitted that he was very grateful that elderly residents in Semper Timur were enthusiastic in participating COVID-19 vaccination. He appreciated elderly residents who have the courage to be vaccinated.

His side keep encouraging other elderly residents in the region who haven't participated in vaccination to use this chance to get COVID-19 vaccine for free. According to him, COVID-19 vaccination for elderly is done as an effort to make elderly's immunity stronger, especially against COVID-19.

"We recommend elderly residents to use this chance well. They can register and participate in this free COVID-19 vaccination at the nearest health center or hospital," he mentioned.

At Semper Timur Health Center, COVID-19 vaccination for elderly has been conducted since Monday (3/15).

"Vaccination program for elderly is started from Monday (3/15) at Semper Timur Health Center, along with other urban village health centers in North Jakarta. According to plan, this activity will last until Friday (3/19). There are 25 elderly people in total who are vaccinated at Semper Timur Health Center," he informed.
